Hi there people!
Just me again, with a little update. We are booking a lot of gigs right now, or to be more exatct, Endre is booking a lot of gigs. So we might show up in your hometown in the near future. Don`t be afraid of asking your lokal pub or venue to book us. We put on a hell of a show, for shure! And some of you kids might have noticed that the new ep is coming in a store near you in December. Roy have put down a lot of work in the cover, and from a little help from our friends, he finished it just last week. Don`t hesitate to give us feedback on the design. We are now back at rehearsal after a brief holliday. Now we are ready to kick ass, play gigs and take over the world. Watch out, WE ARE COMING! See you soon.

Yours truely Audun.

October 16th - 2006

Hey!

Just giving you guys a small update. As most of you know we are wraping up our EP now. Just waiting for our designer to finish the last touch on the cover. We’re expecting darker winter times up here in Norway now, but we’re ready for more songwriting and studiosessions. We’re also booking a lot of new gigs at the moment. Also we are sorry to say that we have decided to let the management go due to lack of dedication and work-hard-spirit from them. So at the moment, Mr. Fix-it himself, Endre is working as our contact person and manager. Untill next time. Keep warm and happy. And don’t forget, ROCK ‘N’ ROLL!!!

Audun

March 27th - 2006

Greetings from Tønsberg Rock City!
Just wanted to thank all of you showing up at our gig this weekend! We had a blast and things couldn’t have gone better! The whole day was a blast. We had a camera team following us the entire day, and I’m pretty sure they got some interesting and of course some uninteresting situations on tape. Even though there’s a lot of waiting and hanging before shows, we made time fly by annoying our friends in Danielle by sitting backstage singing songs they obviously didn’t like. Haha! It was all just for fun and all though they didn’t admit to it, I think they liked it a little;) After our show (one of our best by the way) we just sat backstage for a while drinking lots of beer, had a great after-party and talked to some of the people that showed up there. All in all it was an amazing weekend, and hopefully it won’t be long before we play in Tønsberg Rock City again!

Regards, f. eb

March 8th - 2006

It’s finally finished! The recording of our new EP! All that’s left now is mixing and mastering. The EP will be mixed in Oslo during the last weekend this month. Hopefully mastering will go as planned sometime during April. After that a lot of really hard work awaits us. Promo! Promo! Promo! Hopefully radio will pick us up and give us plenty of airtime, and we’re also planning shooting a video before summer. What’s really important now is getting help from you! As soon as we know where and how you can vote for us and request us on different shows we’ll let you know! Stay tuned for more bulletins on how your favourite band Intourium is doing!

Love, eb!

December 12th - 2005

Ok children… About time I make an entry in the diary. I just got back from our studio. I’ve done the vocals on “Growing” today and it sounds really nice. “Your Friend” and “Crave” is also done so that just leaves “Someday”. We are getting real close to a finished product and we can’t wait to show you guys the tracks…
On Thursday we went to Skuret in Oslo and played a great show. Our support was Wreckless, so a big shout out to the guys for backing us. Nice crowd and a killer time!!!
I love that place!

Nothing more today, but I’ll try to be a little more informative in our diary…

Peace…
-Mikkel

November 7th - 2005

Hey! Just popped in to tell you a little about what's going on in the wonderful
world of Intourium. We played the PeruRock once again in October. Think that
was our fifth time around, and this year was one of the better ones. Great crowd,
thaks to each and everyone of the 400 who came out out to see the show!
Mikkel's demand on getting money thrown up on stage worked out a bit
too well though. It was scary with all the coins flying through the air around our
heads, but it was for a good cause, right?

The studio sessions are working out well too!
No clue when we'll finish though. We don't wanna rush this, as we
want to make it as good as possible (big supprise, huh?)

Mikkel wanted me to say that he's no longer living with his parents, he finally
grew up and left home!

Cheers

October 10th - 2005

Hello! Back by my computer now.. Played in Tønsberg on Saturday. Had a blast.
The venue was an old church and had a nice atmosphere to it. A bit cold though.
We supported Animal Alpha which in out on a national tour right now. They sounded great,
so go see them if you get the chanse! Eventhough this was the night of technical problems
(something happened with my guitars that I still can't explane) the concert went OK.
This week we're recording bass for the EP, eb is in studio as I write this.
Thanks to Vestfold Studentsamfunn for the hospitality.

Hi again guys and girls!

Just a few updates! Finished off the recording of the drums today, so our new EP is definitely on the way!!! It all sounds amazing, and I can't wait to lay the bass some time this week. We also got a new gig today:) At Skuret in Oslo the 8th of December. Show up, it'll be a blast! Nothing more to report from the frontier today!

 Rock n roll, eb

September 26th - 2005

Hi there! This is my "virgin diary";)

The last weeks have just been crazy, so i felt it was about time I wrote something.
Last week started off with a gig at BI Nydalen, Oslo. Thanx to all who showed up! We had a blast, and our crew was just amazing.
The day didn't start very good though. Me and Mikkel started off early with some of our backline, and Roy, Audun and our soundtech, Buaas where supposed to start off in good time as well. The DIDN'T! Me and Mikkel sat in the concert hall for about 5 hours drinking and waiting for them. And for every hour passing, our road direction got worse and worse. It all ended with Roy & co showing up 30 min before doors opening. I have never seen backline being moved so fast! Good on ya guys! Well, it all ended great and people seemed to enjoy it!

On Thursday we headed up to Evje, a small, small, small town i Norway to shoot a video. Had our own bus so while the crew where rigging, we drank the local beer (I love CB). Don't get me wrong. It was a hard days night! We where shooting from 23:00 to 04:30 and where pretty exhausted in the end. On Friday we got a chance to see the "city". It's very beautiful in Evje, but not very big. We had breakfast/lunch at the local junk food deli, and headed back to the set. After (according to himself) 100 phone calls, lack of communication and people being sick, Mikkel had to leave the set to work somewhere else. What a bummer! We really missed you at the after party, Mikkel! On Saturday we drove home to wash our clothes, refill our batteries and check our e-mails (YAHOO!!! NO BILLS!). Sunday was back to studio to work hard on our new EP doomed to be released before x-mas!

That's it for now! Love, fuckin' eb!

21th of September 2005

Hey! Just came back from the lovely BI in Oslo where we played last night.
Tuesday night, but people were up for a party! Thanks to the very nice crew
and of course all of the cute girls in the front. Think the venue was quite new,
it sure looked minty fresh from where I was standing. We'd love to come back
anytime to meet our new friends again.
Tomorrow morning we're leaving for Evje to shoot the video for the
TV-station theme song. Can't say witch station as of now, but you'll soon find
out. We're planning on filming from Thursday through Sunday and I bet
we'll have a lot of fun. We're quite busy these days, but that is the way
we like it. The amazing thing about this band is that we can sit together
in a car, driving 5 hours straight, and still have a good time. I love my
band, love them to pieces! :)
We'll update again next week, maybe with some photos from the
weekend and a new diary.

So long

21st of August 2005

Hi there! Finally we got to update our site again. Believe it or not, it's not our
fault this time. But now we've changed server (again) so let's update the
hell out of this site!
First of all I have to say that it's been a great summer for us. We've had
a lot of fun, got to play a few festivals, moved all our equipment into a studio
(that we rebuild - we'll use it for rehearsals aswell) and made a lot of
new friends. Well first things first, the summerfestivals:
The 9th of June we did "Mestivalen" in Larvik. It was something the people
at one of the schools in Larvik put together to close up before summer-break.
We shared the bill with Algorythms, The Rovers and Corbin. It was such a beautiful
sunny day, perfect for playing outdoors. Big stage and nice crew made it easy for
us to rock out. The audience was crazy too. Did lots of signing afterwards,
but I suspect that some of the kids didn't even know who we were. We could
have done anything up on that stage and they still would want our names
spelled out all over their bodys, hehe.
The next day we played at "Larvik UngdomsFestival" with Cast, Surferosa, Algorythms,
The Rovers, The Pioneers, Corbin and Christer. Pictures can be found here.
We played after Surferosa and the audience was great! We got the best spot,
just when the sun went down and it started to get darker. In my opinion this
is the magical spot, I've witnessed it a lot of time when I see other bands too.
Something happends with people when it starts to get dark, almost as their
entire focus is on whats going on onstage. This is what, I think, any band strives,
to get the full attention and create a moment with the crowd. Anyway
great gig and afterwards we went nuts with some of our special friends ;)
Then mid July we did Stavernfestivalen. It was really cool to suddenly find ourselves
chit-chating with the biggest bands in Norway. Being a small band we
can still wander around in the audience and watch other acts without
getting too much attention, so we got to see a whole bunch of concerts.
We even got interviewd by the biggest newspaper
in Norway, which meant that I finally got to say : "Sorry, I was busy being
interviewed by VG" when I missed a phonecall! Pictures can be found here!
Huge thank you letter goes out to Marte Melsom who took this pictures.

Hum.. A new EP is on the way. It's supposed to be released sometime in November.
This will rock. You'll get to see a new side of us, we promise! Things are
working out great with Mikkel, and with this EP we want to show people that
we've taken a whole bunch of steps in the right direction. Those of you
who have seen our live show the last few months already know, we rock! :)

Rock out, peeps!

Roy Holmes

24th of May 2005

YoYo! Added pictures from the Russeparty show. Man, that was great!
Only pictures of the crowd for now, but we're waiting
for more.

9th of May 2005

Hello hello! First of all I'd like to thank those of you who showed up at "Gamla"!
A big thank you goes out to Babylotion aswell, great guys and great music.
Last Wednesday we signed with Joyride Artist Management, which we're
really excited about as we have great belief in those guys.
We're happy to see that our "Russelåt" -"Nå er vi i mål" has been really well
recieved. Why shouldn't Larvikrussen have their own song? Is that just something that
only the high maintance, overspending busses should have? Hell no! So we recorded
a song for the crazy ones in Larvik. We love you! :)

I also have to say that being booked to this years Stavernfestival is cool.
Can't wait to share the stage with all those great bands..

For those of you wondering why I write in english, the reason is pretty simple;
why limit our band and music to the 4.5 million people that know norwegian?
We recieve mail from all parts of the world now. People outside Norway love music too,
and for us as a band, it's important that as many as possible can listen to our music.

Take care :)
Roy Holmes

4th of April 2005

Hi there! Just popped in to drop a few lines. El Commandante is
supporting us at our Larvik show this Saturday. Kom å se oss for f***!
Roy H. 2nd of March 2005Hello! Mikkel competed the vocals on our next single last week.
We're about to mix it and then it's of to the radiostations!
It's an old song actually, some of you may know it. Almost
a bit embarrasing to re-record it, but we and people around us
have such believe in this song.
Just added a show to our tour section. We're doing "Kongegata"
again. All ages of course, and we're inviting the sporty but very confused
Peter Wessel Cup people over for a rockshow, telling them they
don't need their lame-ass disco and that they should come
see us instead. An evil plan by an evil band, ladies and gentlemen!
The gig at "Verkstedet" in Oslo went great, we had a blast actually!
The venue did get packed eventually, and we left Oslo with a bunch
new won over fans. 7th of february 2005

Hi! Exciting times now'a'days! Just got a few concertdates confirmed.
This Saturday, the 12th of February, we're teaming up with our
new friends in Groundless for a splitgig at "Verkstedet" in Oslo.
Please come out to see us!
We've finally started working in the studio again, snippets of
this may turn up on this very page sometime soon.
Check out Audun's little Intourium-homemovie teaser in the
Video section. He's working on a bigger one, but he's a bit slow.
Too slow above! Haha.
I want to mention two bands that you have to check out:
Groundless and Babylotion. Great bands and great guys!

5th of January 2005

First I'd like to wish our listeners and visitors a happy new year. Lets hope
it turns out to be a good year for all of you! During Endre's trip to Australia
we(us being the rest of Intourium..) treated ourselves with a vacation.
No rehearsal, no gigs, no studio and no web updates.
We're all of course shocked by the recent disaster in Asia
eventhough we're on the other side of the earth, everyone's
touched by this in one way or the other. People loosing everyting they've got,
even familymembers, is really hard to watch. Let's hope this
makes people connect in a different way and that culture and religious disagrements
is put aside. Makes one realize how fragile a human being is, doesn't it?
Suddenly the size of your damn paycheck and your fancy car
is of no value. If you haven't already, please make a donation to
the many victims here. That is the least we can do.

All the love,
Roy Holmes
29th of November

Snow, frost and cars that won't open(or start for that matter). Yes it's winter
again. A couple of things have happend sice the last time I wrote. We played
at Kuffen in Tønsberg again, cancelled show in Larvik and cancelled studio session.

The Kuffen show.. man, we love playing there! You guys rule!! I had some
friends coming to the show to wish me a happy birthday. We celebrated
at my house after the show. Awsome.. Thanx so much for coming!
Apologies to the sound-guy for our grumpiness, we can be a pain
in the ass, but we're working on it!
Also nice to play with our friends Algorythms again. Always a laugh
backstage with crazy MoFo Andy DeVille hanging around!
Pictures

KulturNatt in Larvik... Well, We cancelled. I had an infected toe, could barely
walk! Felt like shit to cancel though.

Studio sessions - cancelled.. or delayed! Mikkel's got the flu and had to
put it of another week. He's doing vocals for some of the songs on
the "I Need You" EP. We're still using that for promotion and Mikkel
wants it to his voice on it, and so do we.

28th of October 2004

The annual PeruRock show. The last few years we've been doing them, it's cool to feel that our contribution actually help people in other parts of the world. The results are amazing, we know cuz we've seen it!
Alot of people came tonight, almost 500 wanted to combine rock with charity.
The was bill filled with Cover-Rock band, punk-rock rap and danceshows.
Soundcheck nightmare with a soundguy concentrating more about bragging
about who he'd done sound for than tuning our sound to a level that would
satisfy both bands and audience. Well, actually we got lucky compared to some of the other bands. He did make an effort with us I think..
This year we managed to score an earlier slot compared to last year's
closing-show-slot. This may sound silly, as bands always wants to close the
shows. Well, we've done PeruRock before, we've done the closing act thing,
and the audience seem to dissapear before the end of the show. Maybe they
get tired or something. Anyway, the promoters wants the biggest bands to play
last, of course the do, but at PeruRock the clever bands grab a slot
in the middle of the show! We switched slots with the acts that was
late for soundcheck, yeah it's pretty stinky, hehe...
Lots of food backstage and lots of cute girls taking good care of us.
We love it!
This friday we're playing Solhaug in Tønsberg again :)
Kom å se oss!!

Cheers

Roy Holmes

14th of September

Hi! Just popped in to give a little update! We've lost our MiniDisc player (we're
pretty sure it's stolen...)  Our rehearsal/live tape with all of the keyboards were inside
the player, this tape is of no value for anyone but us - so please return it!
Yeah like YOU will be reading this... :p
Anyway we've been booked to the wonderful Solhaug again! Last time was a lot
of fun, and I'm sure this time will be fun aswell.Roy
2nd August 2004

Hey! It's been a while - yeah I know I keep saying that!
Anyway we've all had a nice summer. As some of you may know I went
on tour with Johan, playing 10 gigs in the south of Norway.
We had a blast, and we got to play a few really weird places.
The first thing that comes to mind was a very special evening in
the woods just outside Lyngdal. We were supporting Steinar Albrigtsen,
Lynni Trekrem and Henning Kvitnes(all pretty famous country\blues\songwriters)
Not our typical kind of crowd in other words! The gig was at 4 in the afternoon on a Sunday in the middle of the woods. The place was sort of a natural ampfitheatre, instead of seats it was grass, trees and rocks. And instead off walls it was a big mountain that people would threw themselves out from in a wire, and glide over the stageroof making a strange "Schwooooffff" sound. All of this was new experience
and very exciting to us. But we were also to play at the afterparty, in a cave inside the mentioned mountain! It was totally viking style, with torches on the walls, long wooden tables and a bar made of logs. The cave was formed as a "T" and could fit about 100 people inside. Water kept dripping down from the cave ceiling down
on us! Probably the weirdest place I've ever played, but it really
rocked (haha, I'm soo funny..)!
Kids in Lyngdal keep thinking that Johan is Kurt Nilsen(last years winner of
Idol), so when signing for them sometimes he'd write Kurt just for fun. Don't think
they even noticed but we were having a laugh about it though!

So long

Roy Holmes

26.06.04

Hello! What's this? The year of more frequent updates? Let's hope so! Just popped in to tell that
our rehearsals are going very well. We're having so much fun!
The lack of pictures on this site is pretty obvious, but a photoshoot is planned.
We've created a forum here at intourium.com so please join in! We'll be answering
questions and talking BS. :)

20.06.04

Oh it's been too long since I last wrote here. As you probably know we lost our
website, and it took a lifetime to make a new one.
Anyway it has been some action in the Intourium camp.
Singer Johan Sannes will no longer play with the band. He's about to
move back to Kristiansand and we decided to go seperate ways. It's been 6
good years, and it feels really sad that it all has ended. Johan is an extremely
talented musician and we're sure that he will succeed in whatever he puts
his mind to. But I guess that we all, deep down inside, knew it was time to
make this change.
Our new singer is Mikkel Melsom. He's been a friend of ours for a while, and we've
seen him play with other bands before. Great guy, great voice and great
stage personality! Because of this our album will be a bit delayed as we're spending all
summer rehearsing with Mikkel.

Mikkel's debut show will be at Stavernfestivalen, so be sure to check us out!

23.10.03

The annual PeruRock show in Larvik.
Once each year highschools in Larvik collect money for
an orphanage in Peru, and in the evening they arrange a consert.
It was our 4th time doing this(2nd time at Thor Heyerdahl)
charity show and it feels good to contribute!

Soundcheck at 5 pm went okay. But we suffered some problems
getting our acoustic guitar out on the PA, so Johan was forced
to drop playing guitar. Not a big deal though, as he only uses
the guitar on one song.
We were set to close the show and hit stage about 11 pm,
by then some of the audience had left to catch the busses home.
But I think the ones who stayed had a great time, and so did we!
It's always nice to see people sing along!
They had covered the stage with black sheets, and by the time
we were onstage, some parts of the sheets were loose and made
the stage somewhat slippery! I made a couple of moves that may have
looked a bit funny, but it was all planned, I promise!!(yeah right..)

25.10.03

Show in Tonsberg with No Radish and Insert Coin.
The venue was kind of cool, reminded us about the place we rehearsed
when we were starting out a few years ago. This was really a great day;
friendly soundguy(we didn't bring our own tonight either cuz we're so cheap!),
awsome local crew taking such good care of us, amusing co-bands and
a fantastic crowd!

Soundcheck went OK but we had some issues with the drum sound and with
our acoustic guitar(again) Didn't matter though, we managed alright!
First on stage was local heroes Insert Coin, they played for half an hour.
Next band was No Radish. Never having seen them before I got somewhat impressed.
I meen, they're like 18 years old, and they totally rock! Hope to see you again soon
guys!!
We hit stage around 10 pm and get a warm welcome from the roaring crowd.
As we're pounding out I Need You I break a string on my guitar, and stupid me
didn't bring a backup guitar. So props to Insert Coin for lending me another one!!
Not a huge crowd, but man, they did know how to rock. Everyone there wanted to have a
good time so we knew we just had to rock even harder!
So by the end of the encore we had everyone jumping and singing along. Smoooooth :)
Sold all of the CD's we brought, so we're now officially sold out! We're happy about
that, but it's kind of sad too...

Special thanks to Eirik and "Kuffen" for this great night!

So long, Roy Holmes

25.09.03

Hey! Just popped in to say that we're still alive. Do you remember us?
We're writing material for the new album and things are finally looking
a lot brighter. We're still getting some airtime with our EP, and we're
hoping that the big stations will add us when the album is out.
Requests make a big difference so please request us to your favorite station now!
Thanks :)

We're playing a show in Tønsberg the 25th of October so if you want to
hear some of the new material you know what to do. We'll play 70% old and 30%
new material I think.

-Diary from 23.August - Sandefjord-

We played with our friends in Algorythms tonight. Pretty mixed audience,
a bunch of 7 year olds and a bunch of 40 year olds. Very few in between, which
makes this an unusual crowd for us. But we had fun, and the audience was polite
enough to put their hands together between our songs :P
The stage was in the middle of a soccer-field and the stage was build out of
construction armor!(see pics below..)

Afterparty at Dan's (singer in Algo) was insane as usual. I saw a punk barfing, hitting
the very top of the wall. He should've gotten a medal for that, a long-distance-puke medal!
We, of course, behaved like saints :)

26.03.03

Hello!
Things are doing pretty well these days. Radios are starting to play our songs
and we got a few gigs confirmed. We'll play at Smuget in Oslo the 15th of April
(as you may know this date was delayed, but this time it's ON)
The 26th of April we'll play with Algorythms and Sidekick at our home field
Kongegata.com. It's a little bit for everyone this evening. I have mentioned Algorythms
here before in my diary, they play punk-rock. Sidekick sounds a bit like Soundgarden and
have members from former norwegian champions in rock; Blow,
and then there's us with our rock-pop!
Endre promised to write a diary from his trip to Australia
but haven't had the time yet.
Eventhough we just released an EP we're soon to start recording for our first full
lenght album. This is something we're really excited about, but we don't know
when we'll be releasing it though. Maybe in November/December 2003.
That's it for now.
Roy Holmes

22.01.03

Hey!
How are you? Bought our CD yet??
We're doing fine by the way!
Here is a little TOUR diary from Friday:
We left for Kristiansand around 3 pm after a short interview with
the local newspaper
Man, when will that writer learn how to spell Intourium??
Anyway, the drive to Kristiansand went by in no time, it's not
a very long drive, it takes approximately 3 hours.
When we arrived we unloaded the van and when we were about to check
in on our motel we noticed that we had gotten a parking-ticket!
That's money right out the window thank you very much.
The place that we played is called "Markens", a cool place right in
the middle of Kristiansand. The stage was pretty small,
but we managed alright!
After soundcheck we left for something to eat, and ended up at
Southern Fried Chicken. The food was okay, I guess.
When we came back to the venue it was already half full, eventhough
it was 2 hours to showtime. As I said earlier "Markens" is such a cool
place where they play good rock music and the people are there
because they like rock music. Well, that's the impression that I got anyway!
Nevertheless, playing for audiences like this saves us from audience requests
like "play that new one from Christina or Britney" "sorry we can't play that"
"Well, in that case you suck!"
Actually, we did do a cover song on Friday, we played "Wherever you will go"
by The Calling. I really love this song, even after listening to it a million times,
and playing it a thousand times!
I think we went on stage by 11.45 PM, and the place was pretty crowded.
We started of with "I Need You" and finished up one hour later with the same song.
That's a little trick that we've learned, to play the single twice!
The show went great, we played really tight, and the crowd seemed to enjoy themselves!
We'll come back to Kristiansand any time!
Bye bye
Roy Holmes

12.01.03

Hello everyone!
It's time to update you again isn't it? Well, our show in Førde has been
pushed a few weeks forward. The reason is that the man in charge of booking in
Førde had quit and the new one didn't know of the deal we had with them. This
was all going on without us knowing about it, but luckly we called them before
we went there (it's a long drive, at least 10 hours)
Our EP is being printed right now, and by friday we'll be in Kristiansand
playing our first show in 2003! We have been rehearsing as maniacs lately, and
we're now on a much higher level when sound and liveshow is concerned. We can't wait to
show you what we got :)
Here's some answers to the questions you've been emailing to us:
- In the end of the week, we're going to set up some sort of system so that people who
don't live in Vestfold can get the chanse to buy our CD.
- Yes we're playing in Oslo, we'll be supporting X-pleasure at "Smuget" the 4. of February
(I could have written that in norwegian I guess ;) )
- Yes Endre will go Australia this year too. He'll leave February 6th!!
- No, we haven't got any gigs planned for this summer yet
- No, the fanclub will not get the CD for free, you only get promos and demos for free. Sorry:(
Bye
Roy Holmes

01.01.03

Hi!
Happy new year everyone! It's 2003 now. Fresh start, new opportunities and
maybe a little hangover from NewYearsEve's celebration? Well, I'm
writing this nunetheless so it's up to you if you want to continue.
As I said earlier we are terrible sorry for the EP-release delay! Things don't always
turn out the way you want them to, and I guess we just miscalculated the time we had
on our hands. We will record this afternoon too and try get it done before our gig in
Førde the 11th og January.
I'll write more later! Roy Holmes

01.12.02

hello!
About time to place an entry here isn't it? I guess I'll start off by telling you
how busy we all are these days. Audun and I have big exams comming up in a
week or so, Endre and Johan are working their a**** off trying to set the
tour straight and dealing with all the paperwork that comes with a release.
Our producer Anders Buaas is even more busy as he got a little daughter last week.
But I promise we'll try to get it out in time!
We just started planning our release party, we want as many as possible there
so we're thinking of having a "all ages for free" concert. I hope this works out okay,
because if we show people a good time for free, they'll buy our record, right??
Well, that's our (evil?) little plan anyway!
Our friends in Algorythms (www.algorythms.com) are releasing their debut album
the 7.th of December. I promised them to tell you guys that if you like punk-rock,
please check them out. And if you don't like punk-rock, check it our anyway and make fun
their hairdo's! They love that?! ;-)
Johan's neck is almost fine again, after his car accident. It's sad he wrecked his
car, but he's got a new one now. He claims it wasn't his fault and blames everything
on the "old man with the ugly hat" :)

that's it for now!

Hi it's me again!
Got some spare time on my hands so I thought I could
write something for our diary. It's been a while since the last entry,
but we are very busy these days. I'm sorry!!
Well, Johan and I played at "Nya Stället" again on 26. October, which was
really cool. And we've started recording a couple of weeks ago!
3 or 4 songs are almost finished, so we hope that we'll get the EP out in time!
For those of you who wondered which songs we're putting on it :
4 completely new songs and a new verson of "I Need You".
Our producer Anders Buaas is doing a great job bringing out the best in every song,
and we're focusing on every tiny detail to make this as good as possible.
Among the 5 songs there will be an acoustic one, a song which I'm sure you all
will find beautiful!
Winter has come upon us here in Norway now, and as usual I'm sick with the flu!
Wish I wasn't such a wimp when it comes to cold weather... Guess it's due to my
poor diet and lack of vitamines. I Started taking vitamines today though!
Since I'm on the subject (not!) I'd like to mention that my birthday is comming up
soon, I turn 21 on the 16th of November! (Yes I DO want to recieve birthday wishes
in my mailbox, fill it up please ;) ) Got to go now!

Hi there!

Finally back here in my safe little nest! It's been a busy weekend for me
and I'm exhausted now, but I can't go to sleep without telling you about how
things are going, can I??
Well first things first, we've been talking about this for ages, but now it's official:
we got a green light on recording and releasing an EP! It feels so good now when the
decision is made, and we can start writing new songs for it! The release-date
will hopefully be in late December, (which saves us trouble finding christmas gifts for
our families :)) and it will contain 5 songs. We are so excited about recording our new
songs; the lean mean hit-making machine strikes again!! I'll post more info about this
later on.
On Friday we played an acoustic show at the opening of a new cafe/club in Larvik called
"Nya Stället" It was just me and Johan who played, but Audun and Endre was there to
help us out. When playing shows like this one we get the chance to play cover songs,
which is fun. We played some of The Calling, Jars of clay and also a few
norwegian songs. At the last song we got Endre up on stage with us singing,
it's so much fun watching him sing. He does it sometimes at band-practise aswell,
and he does it with such passion and feeling, it always cracks us up! We often end up
on the floor laughing our heads of! After our performance we stuck around the place
having a few drinks and talking to people. We left the place around 1.30 AM heading
for our Intourium-afterparty at Endre's place.
Saturday night I was at a rock show in Oslo. I love going to concerts, meeting other
musicians and listen to live music. That is what it's all about isn't it? The feelings
that music brings out in you are just beyond everything. It's a universal language that
everyone understands, and it's so cool that people in different parts of the world find
the same music touching.

Kind regards
Roy Holmes

hey peeps!
Just wanted to say that we will record again any day now, and our deal
with you guys still stands : send us your name and adress and we'll send you
a promo-CD free of charge! We're working on our homevideo these days aswell,
and I think it's gonna be a killer! For the last two years we've had a camera with
us on the road, in the studio, at parties and so on. Let me tell you this :
I'll make you a deal on how to get your hands on a copy right here right now:
Send your name and adress and we'll send you one for free! easy isn't it?
We have been working very hard with this movie, and want everyone to take a look at
some of what's been going on the last two years! Please say which format you want
it in: VCD-format(works on most DVD players) or DIVX/Mpeg format (for computers)

We have rehearsed hard the last month, and are dying to get on the road
again. Seems to be hard to get a decent gig now'a'day's, but we've got people
working on it.

If you like to write to us please do, we love getting those emails. Which brings me
on to a funny thing that happened the other day when this girl left a note on(!) Endre's
pizza slice, and he didn't see it and almost ended up eating it! It was really sweet
of her to write, but in the future please try not to kill us :-)

I would like to thank some of you for giving us extra support :
Per Ambjorn Hvarnes and Elisabeth for amazing fansites(www.intouriumtribute.tk and
www.geocities.com/intouriumfan) Lets all hope that someday you'll be proud to
say that you made the first fansites!!
I would also like to thank Susan Redfeather(USA) for massive support and for spreading
the word about us over there!
Lets pull this thing off together as a f***** TEAM!

That's it for now, I'll try to post here again soon.

Hugs and kisses

Ohh... its been ages sice I last wrote, hasn't it? sorry!
It has been a quiet summer as far as playing live shows, but
we got to play in our hometown Larvik the 17th of May(the "birthday"
of Norway) Intourium featured the bill along with 2PM and Corbin, both
bands have had success here in Norway, and we were very happy to
join them on stage. Intourium were first on stage, and we made a
fairly good performance. Playing in our hometown is always
nervewrecking! But we got a nice review and a huge picture in the local newspaper,
so we were all satisfied.
And for those of you that didn't know, Johan has moved back to Larvik
after 3 years in Skien ann Kristiansand. Which means we can get together
and practise as often as we want! We have written a few new songs, and
are currently looking for a studio to record some of them.
The "Intourium home-video" are also being made these days. You may download a
little bit of it in the video pages. To get a full copy with better quality, write us an
e-mail, and we'll send you a VCD as soon as its finished (you need a DVD player to watch it)
We finished the music video for our song "I need You" today. It has been so much fun!
I learned a lot about how these things work, and are looking very much forward to see the
result! We'll put it out here on www.intourium.com for you to download, but if you want
to watch the premiere(and live in Vestfold), tune in the next "OXO-musikk" at TV-Vestfold.
The show will also contain a interview.
If any of you had planned to go see the "KnudsenFestival"-acoustic gig, we are so sorry not
being able to play! But playing an acoustic show is something we'd really like to do, so
lets hope we get the oppurtunity again soon.
We have also recieved the news that a Australian radio station is playing our songs,
lets hope it leads us a bit closer to money and stardom!! LOL!

Guess thats all folks!! Thanks so much for kind e-mails and support! :)
I'm off to band-pratice....

The guys picked me up after I had finished my exam. Think
it was like at 12 o'clock. I noticed that they where in a
very good mood today. Promising I thought! When we arrived
at the airport, we found out that something was wrong with
Audun's ticket it wasn't paid for or something. We sorted
it out smoothly, luckly there was a seat open on the flight!

The weather in Trondheim was like we expected, cloudy and 30 cm
snow covering the ground. We got our equipment and headed for
Trondheim city. At first we checked in to the hotel, a nice hotel
right in the middle of the city, with a nice view even!
After relaxing a bit we took a taxi to the venue. Intimate
place, the local crew where already setting up the gear.
I went backstage, little room filled with chairs, mirrors, dimmed lights
and beer...of cource!

Soundcheck went okay, but we never seem to get all
satisfied with the sound now'a'days. After eating we got our
backdrop up, some nice lighting on it, and we left the venue
with a smile on our faces. This was going to be a
good one!

We went back to our hotel to relax
and change to stage-clothes. Think we left for the venue
around 10 pm. We where set up to play at midnight.
We went on stage about 12.20, a bit delayed.
Lot of familiar faces, I think I could name the entire front row!
Old friend of ours now living in Trondheim made us
feel like playing in our home-town!
Not a big audience tonight, at the most 150 people. But nevertheless
we had fun, some of them knew the lyrics and sang along.
We LIKE THAT!!Thanks for the support!

The afterparty was really "wet" (like always), at first we just sat
backstage and waiting for the formalities to get sorted out (read: get
our money and stuff) Then we left for a party! Lot of people there, I almost
couldn't see anything with all the cigarett-smoke. We where giving out CD's and stuff
and having a good time. Then by 0600 AM we headed for the hotel, all buzzed up.
We had a early flight and needed some sleep real bad!

BTW Thanx to the Crew at Samfundet for taking such good care of us!

With love

Roy Holmes
